World of Tanks Blitz Twister Cup on Course for Minsk

World of Tanks Blitz proudly announces its 2017 Twister Cup. The heaviest hitting teams from four regions will descend on Minsk, Belarus, on November 11 to battle for their slice of $30,000.
Last year’s Twister Cup declared New York City its battlefield, and saw team C4 from the CIS take home the title of champions. In 2017, World of Tanks Blitz heads back to where it all began, the birthplace of the game, Minsk.

“With eSports, we give players the opportunity to see which of them is truly the best of the best, not just to themselves or their competitors, but the whole world,” said Daria Klimchuk, eSports Manager. “2016’s Twister Cup was awesome, and we plan on making this year’s event one not to be missed.”
Teams will be able to kick off their month-long qualification period for the Twister Cup in September. Each region will participate in week-long qualifiers to prove their skill and find out which team is worthy of representing their region in the offline portion of the Blitz Twister Cup.
Regional qualifaction begins in September, and is divided into four week-long stages. Another route to the qualifiers takes the best four clans in the clan leaderboard and selects one as a wild card. This wild card status allows a team to skip the qualifier’s final stage and head straight to the online finals.
Supporters will be able to grab tickets for the event, so should stay tuned to World of Tanks Blitz’s communication channels.
